Dazed and confused in Copenhagen.

It is a heat wave here in Copenhagen. No A/C in the airport. The Copenhagen card place emerged in front of us, Plan A. But we failed to find the right option on the machine. Queued at the counter and no problem. It was hot and my tow bag kept falling over sideways. I gave up and just dragged it on to the metro.

We were carefully watching for our station but they all seemed to be named "Neste Station". Ours finally got a mention but then it went back to this damned "Nested Station".

We got off, into the first bag shop, and got a new one with 4 wheels.

Transferred everything from old to new, the shop agreed to dispose my old one.

It rolled around the store beautifully.

Out on the street we noticed an issue. The Danes have streets specifically designed to destroy wheeled luggage.

Cobblestones everywhere. We crossed the road to walk through the park. Completely cobblestones also. After another road crossing we found a nice smooth path. It took about 5 seconds before we saw a horde of angry pushbikers charging straight at us.

If the path can't destroy wheeled luggage it's a bike only path. They’re everywhere.

It was hot. We were tired. Push bikes own the best foot paths, but Google maps was working. You just have to ignore the fact that it thinks you are always walking in the opposite direction.

The hotel room was a sauna. We turned the AC to max, showered and went back to the luggage shop to retrieve our cruise boarding passes hidden in an end pocket.

There was no end pocket and no passes. They were in the new bag after all.

Ludicrously staggered around Copenhagen a bit. Saw a castle for no particular reason. It was there and our card gave free entrance.

Headed to the tourist wharf area for dinner.

Collapsed to sleep an hour ago.
