Iceland - The Arrival

It looks flat. It was sunny when we landed. No customs and our driver was awaiting us courtesy of our Photographic Expedition Tour. A good start.

On the way into Reykjavik, the rain started.

The Hotel is OK. The usual 30 degrees C inside like everywhere else in Scandinavia.

We eventually figured out how to set the AC to 20.

After managing to play Diablo 3 a bit in the airports and even on the plane! I settled in for some pre-dinner carnage.

The rain stopped and the night was fairly clear as we went to the Launderette Cafe and did our laundry while eating a really nice meal.

I snapped a couple of night shots on our stroll back to the Hotel.

Next morning, we heard people had been watching the Aurora at about 11 or 12 that night. We were asleep.
