Fire, Fire, Fire!

Tricia was snoring. I was watching the second half of Man Utd. The Hotel Fire alarm went off, and didn't stop.

No sprinklers in these rooms?!

We grabbed the important stuff, and put on warm clothes and shoes, and walked down the fire escape. Snapped the wharf area lights.

We were allowed back in after the fire brigade confirmed there was no fire. Probably a guest smoking in their room.

We found or room door unlocked. Worse, whenever we left the room and closed the door it wouldn't lock. Next morning at breakfast, we discovered the reason.

Man Utd had now gone behind and 10 limp minutes later had lost. Perfect end to a perfectly crappy day.
